Ria is a highly imaginative and innovative Student Facilitator and Storyteller with a zeal to illustrate stories and also, work closely with students through the challenges of an educational environment.A certified storyteller from TISS, Mumbai, previously, she was a member of ‘Kathashala’ storytelling group, and currently a core member of ‘Story Ghar’ a storytelling group in Delhi. She considers connecting and communicating with children as one of her strengths. Recently, she upgraded her learning by completing MA English with a specialisation in Indian Folk Literature from IGNOU and also, a CIG (Certificate in Guidance) course from IGNOU, gaining insights into the various aspects of child development. Ria, also, holds a degree in English Hons. from Punjab University and a PGD in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis. She has worked as a Voice over artist for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platform, Call-a-Kahaani by Udhyam Learning Foundation, Bangalore, to enable learners of ages 12 to 24 to engage with real-life stories and scenarios and learn at their own pace. She also participated in the Teach for India "Bridge Volunteer Program" as a part time Volunteer and taught the TFI Bridge curriculum as well as designed holistic education activities. Now, she aspires to connect with students and individuals as a career counsellor to support and guide them.
